this was an art assignment from when i was in Art 9 class in high school ~ 1992. The assignment was practicing the art technique called ' line and wash'. First, one draws an image with pen then using a wet q-tip, one adds some volume and depth by washing over the ink and using it to 'shade'......Kris Kross the hip pop group from the early 90's was huge at this time. And yes, i once even turned my clothes backwards
